We listen with compassion, We act with dignity, and We solve in love

The Living Well is a safe, respectful space dedicated to helping Yates County residents and families in need. Located in Penn Yan, NY, we are a community- and grant-supported 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing emergency assistance for food, personal hygiene and household cleaning necessities; utilities; referral services; peer support for loss and those living with cancer, and youth programming.

The Well is open to all Yates County residents regardless of age, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, education, income, religious affiliation, employment or legal status.

Our staff and volunteers build relationships that foster resilience by working closely with service agencies in and around Yates County to help residents move from surviving to thriving. We listen first and refer second, connecting clients to education, resources, and support to help the people who are under-and-unemployed, challenged by addiction, and/or in physical, emotional or mental crises.
